Libman-Sacks Endocarditis

  • MRI showed acute infarcts in multiple arterial territories.
  • Transoesophageal echocardiogram (TOE) showed tricuspid and aortic vegetations with regurgitation.
  • Libman-Sacks endocarditis is a non-infective endocarditis classically associated with antiphospholipid syndrome and systemic lupus erythematosus, causing embolic multi-territory infarcts.
